The Great Yorkshire Show & The Driffield Show

Once again, we will be attending The Great Yorkshire Show this year, which is next Tuesday. We will be located in the Food Hall in the same place as last year. We hope to see you there for a catch up.

We will also be exhibiting at The Driffield Show on the 20th of July. We look forward to seeing new customers and of course some of the regulars! We are hoping for a good show as its our first time there.

A Busy Easter Weekend!

We have been busy this weekend cooking granola for next weeks orders and the Dales Festival of Food & Drink which will be held at Leyburn over the bank holiday weekend. (30th April, 1st & 2nd May) As I write this i’m waiting for the next batch of trays to come out of the oven, and to place the next load in. The whole house smells of baking!

In 2011 the Dales Festival of Food and Drink celebrates its tenth birthday! The 2010 Festival was a great success and everyone is looking forward to a great bank holiday weekend in 2011, which will be even better this year following on from the Royal Wedding! Open 10am to 5pm daily. Why not come along to see all the wonderful produce that the Yorkshire Dales has to offer!

Big News – Award Winners

The Award Season has started early this year, no, we are not talking the oscars…. but the Yorkshire Post Great Taste Awards, Even more important to us! We have just won the ‘Handmade Category’ as judged by a panel of experts.

Back in August we were one of almost fifty food and drink producers selected to tempt the five strong expert judges, and then down to the final 18! On the night when the winners were selected, our name was read out, and we were over the moon to receive this prestigious award. The trophy was presented to us by the famous recipe book writer Grace Mulligan, which we are very grateful for.

Receiving such an award helps to confirm to us in the current uncertain economic climate, that what we are doing is the right thing, pursuing our goal of supplying a top quality nutritious granola to our customers, and helps to give us the incentive to spread our product far and wide.
